Tony Award winner Shuler Hensley is playing the main character in Tradition. Hensley has appeared on Broadway in Young Frankenstein, Tarzan, Oklahoma! (and West End – Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle, Olivier Awards) and Les Miserables. He’s also performed Off-Broadway, Opera and recent work as Tevia in Fiddler On The Roof in Japan. Some of Hensley’s film and television credits include Van Helsing, The Legend of Zorro, Odd ThomasMurder of a President, The Americans, Law and Order: Special Victims Unit and the upcoming Netflix series, The OA.



Shuler’s nemesis will be played by Steve Coulter, who is well known for his recurring television roles as Reg Monroe in The Walking Dead, and Elijah Bowman in Banshee. Coulter has also appeared in films like Jayne Mansfield’s Car with Robert Duvall, Flight with Denzel Washington, Kill The Messenger with Jeremy Renner, Mena with Tom Cruise, The Founder with Michael Keaton and HBO’s upcoming The Wizard of Lies with Robert DeNiro.



Tradition was written and will be co-directed by author and three-time Emmy-nominee, John Kabashinski. His twenty-plus years of creating, writing, producing, directing and editing include highlights for networks such as the WB, CBS, Turner and MTV. Kabashinski won the Froggy award from the WB Network for writing, producing and directing the best image campaign in the nation. He has a unique perspective on socially sensitive issues with his spiritual studies background and the writing of his spiritual memoir, I Am. Kabashinski earned his certificate in filmmaking at New York University.



Susan Moss has produced projects on Capitol Hill as well as NASCAR’s fast tracks, and is very active in the Atlanta film community. Currently, Moss is Executive Director of Women in Film & Television Atlanta (WIFTA). She is also on the Executive Board of Georgia Production Partnership, chairing the Communications and Marketing committee and is a member of SAG-AFTRA.



Puja Chaudhari has been a part of the Atlanta film industry in many capacities for the last decade. Most recently, she has been writing, directing, and producing her own projects including Hard Days Pay, The Osiris Construct, and Blood and Iron. Chaudhari has worked with the Cartoon Network, produced projects for Trick3D and the feature film Good Grief. Active in the independent film market, she enjoys helping other filmmakers achieve their goals.



An independent producer for digital media, Michelle Kabashinski has developed and managed projects for network executives, films, commercials and webisodes. She is active in the film community as a SAG-AFTRA actor and the former Communications Chair for the Georgia Production Partnership. Understanding both sides of the camera, Kabashinski has assembled a unique and gifted team to create Tradition.



An award-winning casting director, Shay Bentley-Griffin has cast over 225 television and feature film projects, including Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk, Kill The Messenger, Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, The Watsons Go To Birmingham and Coma, each a showcase for Georgia talent. She also cast the critically acclaimed feature films Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, Remember the Titans, and Sweet Home Alabama. Bentley-Griffin was the first president of the Georgia Production Partnership, she is a member of Women in Film International, Casting Society of America and is in development on a new television series, The Land We Love.



As a casting executive at Disney, Bruce Newberg supervised Blame it on the Bellboy, The Hand that Rocks the Cradle and Marrying Man. Newberg casts for stage, television and film and has won awards for his work. Producing and casting musical theatre in New York and Los Angeles, Newberg is best known for casting television series including The Closer, Bad Teacher and independent films like The Cherry Orchard, Walking Across Egypt, Spawn, The Maker, When the Party’s Over, and The Settlement. Newberg received a BA in Drama at Tufts and an MFA at UCLA Film School.



Marc Dobiecki served in the 3rd Reconnaissance Battalion in Okinawa on underwater information-gathering missions. He then began working as a production assistant, eventually moving his way up to director of photography, and signed on with Sedna Films as a director/cameraman. Dobiecki’s credits include second unit DP on feature films Sabotage with Arnold Schwartzenagger, Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Big Happy Family and The Collection, as well as TV series The Walking DeadHalt and Catch Fire and Quantum Break. Other camera credits include Zombieland, Stomp The Yard and The Three Stooges.



Creating the look for Tradition is Chuck Whited, who has spent the past twenty years as an artist, consultant, art director and executive producer in the film and television community, designing and building film, television, music video and commercial sets for many notable talents, including Tyler Perry, Jay-Z and the Dalai Lama. Whited holds a BFA from Florida State University and graduate studies in Art History from The University of Alabama at Birmingham. He currently serves on the Dean’s Advisory Board at FSU for the schools of theatre, dance and visual arts.



Jeff Mosier performed the source music for Lawrence Fishburne’s HBO film Miss Ever’s Boys and created and performed music for Gregor Turk’s documentary, 49th Parallel Project. Mosier’s music is used in Georgia Public Broadcasting’s Georgia Traveler and Nickelodeon’s Gamefarm. Former bluegrass coach for Phish, he fronts The Mosier Brothers band with his electric banjo, along with brother Johnny Mosier on guitar and legendary Widespread Panic fiddler David Blackmon. The band recorded Tradition’s soundtrack, adapted from the original music of Fiddler on the Roof. Writing, performing and recording music of various genres for 40 years, Mosier is currently touring with legendary musician Colonel Bruce Hampton.



Bringing Tradition alive with dance is choreographer, dancer and actor Dustin Lewis. His twenty year professional journey has taken him all over the world working mostly in musical theatre as an actor, singer, dancer, choreographer, director and producer. Having worked for such stars as Dick Clark and Michael Jackson, his work has been seen on cruise ships and major international stages. Currently, Lewis has switched focus from the stage to screen with his recent credits on House of Cards, The Originals, Nashville and Sleepy Hollow.
